About Wooddale Academy
Inspiring young minds through faith, knowledge and character.
We understand that choosing an early childhood program is an important decision, and we’re honored that you are considering Wooddale Academy. Our goal is for students to be more prepared for the primary grades ahead, academically as well as socially and emotionally.
At Wooddale Academy, we’re passionate about sharing a lifelong love of learning, and we’re committed to maintaining a high-quality Christian environment where seeds of faith are planted, knowledge is built and character is developed.
History & core values
Wooddale Academy was formed in 1970 to support parents and children through a creative environment teaching Christian values, diversity and fellowship within the whole community. We understand that the future growth of each child stems from these vital early years.
The teachers at Wooddale Academy strive to foster the child’s emotional, social, spiritual, intellectual and physical development. Our core values include love, faith, integrity and respect, with emphasis placed on respecting others, our school and ourselves.
We also believe that instilling healthy eating habits at an early age prepares children for a lifetime of success. It’s important for us to help each child grow to their fullest potential, both developmentally and physically. That’s why every child will enjoy nutritious meals prepared fresh by our onsite chef. With a variety of wholesome, flavorful options, we support your child’s physical growth and cognitive development.
Leadership
“When exploring early childhood programs for my children to attend, I considered all of the expected variables, ranging from curriculum to facilities, safety and of course price. Wooddale certainly checked all of the boxes in these domains, with evidence-based curriculum, beautiful facilities and a competitive price point. However, the hidden variable that has made us so passionate about the program is the love that the faculty and staff outpour onto my children. I have absolutely no doubt that when I drop my children off, everyone, ranging from their teachers to the kitchen staff, will love them like their own. It feels like a beautiful extension of our family. For me, there is no better gift in the world.”
