Pre-Kindergarten

4-5 years old

Our pre-kindergarten program for children ages 4 to 5 encourages curiosity, confidence and a deeper understanding of the world around them. We offer year-round early childhood education at our two locations in Eden Prairie and Edina, Minnesota.

Children learn in a unique environment that combines both indoor and outdoor classroom experiences. Throughout the year, students explore the woodlands, marshes and ponds located on Wooddale Academy’s campus, creating meaningful opportunities to observe nature and discover how the natural world works.

This specialized learning environment increases engagement, encourages exploration and inspires a sense of wonder. Through guided activities, collaborative learning and outdoor discovery, children strengthen problem-solving, communication and early academic skills while building confidence as they prepare for kindergarten.

The program runs from September through May, with summer camp options offered to extend learning and enrichment beyond the school year.
