School Age Summer Camps

Kindergarten–Third Grade Completed

At Wooddale Academy, School Age Summer Camp is the place to be! You can register for a minimum of 2 weeks, a variety of weeks or all 10 weeks. Each week you choose, your child will spend time having fun exploring the great outdoors and going on field trips with fellow campers. Your child will be challenged and inspired by age-appropriate STEAM discovery activities, plenty of outdoor physical activity and uniquely developed weekly adventure themes—no two weeks are alike!

• School Age Summer Camps are offered at our Eden Prairie location.
• Camp Sessions cost $350/week and run Monday–Friday from 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
• One-time Non-refundable Enrollment Fee of $175 due at time of registration
• Campers will receive a souvenir camp shirt at their first registered camp.
• Registration includes a mid-morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack.
• If for any reason you decide to withdraw your child from camp, a 30-day written notice is required.

Week 1: Art Studio | June 3-7

The ultimate camp to get your creative juices flowing! Each day your child will spend time in the art studio learning new skills and techniques. At the end of the week, each camper will bring home their very own portfolio.

Week 2: WA/Camp Woods Kids Unite – Dive into fun! | June 10-14

Campers will experience an amazing undersea-themed adventure where they’ll experience God’s ever-flowing, never-ending love. Join us for a fun SCUBA adventure!

Week 3: Seriously Science | June 17-21

What forces keep your feet on the ground? What keeps the planes flying in the sky? Get ready to go on a spacewalk. We are diving in deep for a full week of scientific discovery.

Week 4: Barnyard Palooza | June 24-28

Farm fabuloso! Strawberries, potatoes, eggs and lettuce: where do they come from? This week is all about life on the farm. Slide on your overalls! Cock-a-doodle-doo! We’re heading to the country. 

Week 5: Ahoy Matey! | July 8-12

A pirate’s life for me! Find your sea legs and join the crew for a week of adventure on the high seas! Anchors away! It’s time to set sail.

Week 6: Buzzin’ about Bees | July 15-19

What’s all the buzz about? You see bees buzzing around when it’s warm outside, hanging out in flowers. But what are they doing? Let’s explore what these unBEEleavable insects are up to, and how you can tell the difference between a bumblebee and a honey bee!

Week 7: What’s the Scoop? | July 22-26

July is National Ice Cream Month! Have you ever wondered how many gallons of whole milk it takes to make just one gallon of ice cream? What is the most popular ice cream flavor? What is your favorite? It is ALL about ice cream this week!

Week 8: Outdoor Survival Adventure | July 29-Aug. 2

Get ready to explore the great outdoors right in our own backyard! Bring your adventurist spirit as we hike, investigate, search for critters, journal and make new discoveries all week long.

Week 9: A Day in the life of a Young Architect | Aug. 5-9

The sky’s the limit! Bring your organizational and imagination skills this week. Inventors keep the world fresh and new. Get your thinking cap on as we find out what we can create together!

Week 10: Creepy Crawlies | Aug. 12-16

Join us as we dig through dirt, and flip over rocks to uncover some of the amazing creepy crawlies that call Wooddale Nature Center home. Come prepared to get a little dirty as camp will be filled with adventure, investigation, and a lot of fun!

Week 11: Wondrous Wildlife | Aug. 19-23

Who’s the king of the jungle? We are stepping into a wilderness adventure together to find who and what lives within the deserts, swamps and forests.
